Hastings Park 1942 - Plaques @

There is a series of plaques in place at Hastings Park that tell the story of the 8000 people of Japanese descent, many of whom were Canadian citizens, who were interned here under terrible conditions, in 1942 and subsequently sent to camps in the BC interior where they remained for the duration of the war.
